MWUN loses Chief Accountant Olorunsola

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has announced the death of the Union’s Chief Accountant, Comrade Timothy Olufemi Olorunsola.

A statement on Thursday, signed by President General of the Union, Prince Adewale Adeyanju, said the sad event took place in Lagos, on Wednesday 13th of July.

Adeyanju prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and comfort for his loved ones.

The statement also disclosed that: “ Olorunsola who hailed from Ondo State, joined the then Autonomous Union of Nigerian Ports Authority later amalgamated as a branch of the MWUN, as a clerical account officer.

“Through his hardwork, he rose through the ranks to attain the prestigious position of Chief Accountant of the Union.

“Until his death, he served the Union diligently, faithfully and in total commitment to duty and his fellowship.”
