Akinsoji’s tribute to late Capt. Adeyemo “An unforgettable gentleman”

The maritime industry in Nigeria has lost a unique professional; a foremost master mariner, brilliant, selfless ever willing to make contributions to the progress of the industry.

Capt. Oyeniyi Adeyemo was a focused, friendly professional who would guide and guard his professional colleagues truthfully in the way forward on knotty issues, whether personal or official.

As a humble, professionally-competent man, he made unquantifiable contributions quietly to the sustenance and progress of our industry. We shall miss him.

Our special condolences go to the family who will miss a very loving father and grandfather.

We pray that the Almighty God who made death inevitable will give the family and all his loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss. Adieu my brother and father in career.
