In reinforcement of its safety protocols as the COVID-19 pandemic spreads globally, the SIFAX Group disclosed on Thursday that it has scaled down operations across its different subsidiaries.
SIFAX disclosed the information in a statement saying it would be adhering to the government’s directives on social distancing in order to slow down the spread of the disease.
It, however, said as operators in the essential services industry, its core operations and technical personnel would be on ground, while the non-essential departments would either maintain a
skeletal service or work from home.
It added that “For the few staff that will be at work and clients that will visit our business premises, necessary protective gears, thermometer checks, hand sanitisers, gloves and nose masks have been provided to keep them safe while the clinic at our port terminal in Tin Can Island Port, Lagos is open round the clock to attend to any emergencies.”
The company urges all to stay safe and observe all precautionary measures as advised by health authorities, while further enquiries can get to them via their social media handles, and mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
