25 ships expected at Lagos ports with petroleum products, general cargoes

Twenty-five ships laden with various
products are expected to arrive at the Lagos ports from April 12 to April 27,
the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday in Lagos.

The NPA disclosed this through its daily ‘Shipping
Position’ made available to newsmen in Lagos.

A breakdown in the document shows that
eight of the expected ships are to bring in petrol and diesel, while five other
ships will arrive with bulk sugar and buckwheat.

Eight other ships are expected to sail in
with containers, while the remaining four ships would bring general cargoes,
the NPA said.

The NPA also said that six ships with petrol
and two with diesel had arrived and waiting to berth at the ports in Lagos.
