The Nigeria Customs Service on Friday said that it had discovered a warehouse along Apapa-Oshodi Expressway with at least 21 trailers loaded with tramadol, codeine and other unregistered pharmaceutical products.
Speaking with newsmen in Lagos, National Spokesman of the Service, Mr. Joseph Attah, said the warehouse where the discoveries were made had been sealed by the customs service, as investigation is being carried out.

It would be recalled that the Federal Government had banned the above drugs from being across the counter drugs following its abuse, particularly by young people.
Attah told newsmen that while the discovery was made by the Strike Force of the Comptroller General of Customs, some suspects have been arrested in connection to the discovered trucks of drugs.
