Shoboiki charged the officers on the importance of team spirit,
and directed the releasing officers on the need to be careful on their duty of
inspection, for proper valuation purposes.

She informed the officers that the technical team from Abuja
that came to launch and install the Nigeria Customs Integrated System II (NICIS
II) in the Command was still on ground to resolve all teething problems and put
stakeholders through before it would leave.

Congratulating the newly-promoted officers, the Customs Area
Controller cautioned the officers to remain disciplined as the Service is a
paramilitary organization. She also encouraged the others on commitment to duty
to earn their own promotion.

While promising to reward outstanding officers at parades,
she also warned against improper dressing, which she said attracted punitive
measures against any erring officer.
On the sidelines, the
Command launched the new Service uniform.
