6 ships arrive Lagos ports with petroleum products

Six ships
laden with petrol, kerosene and aviation fuel have arrived at the Lagos ports
and waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA) said on Wednesday in
Lagos.

The NPA made
this known in its daily ‘Shipping Position’ made available to newsmen in Lagos.

It said three
of the ships arrived with petrol, while two ships brought in aviation fuel and
the remaining one was laden with kerosene.

The NPA also
said 27 ships were expected at the Lagos ports from March 30 to April 18.

A breakdown
of the expected ships showed that 13 ships would arrive with containers, while
six others are to bring in general cargoes.

Food products
including bulk sugar, buckwheat, bulk salt and crude palm oil are expected in
six ships, while the remaining three ships will sail in with petrol and diesel,
the NPA said.
